Station runs

Burnham station is served by the Elizabeth line and GWR stopping trains. It's more than a mile south of the village centre, on the other side of the A4, which is why so many people take a taxi for that last stretch. Getting out of Burnham, whichever way you're heading

Burnham sits at a junction of routes, and drivers who know the area pick the right one first time. Heading south and east, the Huntercombe spur takes you straight to M4 Junction 7, which is the quickest way to Heathrow, London and the M25. Heading west, the A4 runs through Taplow to Maidenhead. Heading north, Hitcham Road and the lanes through East Burnham lead up to Farnham Common and the A355, which runs to Beaconsfield and the M40 at Junction 2. That's often a better way to Luton and the Midlands than the M4 and M25 at peak times.
